The Role: Independent Telemedicine Physician As an Independent Telemedicine Physician with Doc.com, you will provide asynchronous (chart review, e-visits) and/or synchronous (video/phone) consultations for patients across various states, focusing on common acute and primary care issues. Design your schedule to fit your life, whether you want to work for 30 minutes between appointments, cover a few evening hours, or build a full-time practice. Location Independent: Work securely from any location where you are licensed and have a HIPAA-compliant workspace. Innovative AI EMR: Our proprietary system uses cutting-edge AI to listen and automatically draft your clinical notes and populate the EMR in real-time. Spend less time charting and more time with patients. Compensation & Incentives Per-Encounter Pay: You will be compensated at a competitive rate of $25.00 to $28.00 per patient encounter, 1099 pay structure with future expanded w2 roles available High-Volume Bonus Structure: We reward efficiency and dedication! Physicians who consistently exceed a high volume of monthly encounters will receive a tiered bonus on top of their per-encounter rate. (Full details available in the contract agreement.) What You Will Do Conduct virtual medical assessments, provide diagnoses, treatment plans, and prescribe medication (non-controlled substances) in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines. Evaluate patient-submitted medical histories and lab results via the doc.com platform. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (primarily through our AI EMR tool). Adhere to all federal and state telemedicine regulations, including multi-state licensing requirements. You will be managing: Acute Illnesses: Cold, flu, cough, sore throat, sinus infection, fever, headache, nausea, and pink eye. Minor Injuries: Mild injuries and rashes. Infections: Ear problems, urinary tract infections (for adult females), and yeast infections. Chronic Care: You will advise with minor routine and preventive care for conditions like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid issues, and asthma. You will not be required to be a primary care physician and will not manage Dermatology: Concerns related to skin, hair, and nails, including acne, eczema, hives, cold sores, and suspicious spots. No medical emergencies Requirements Active, Unrestricted MD or DO license in good standing (Multi-state licenses are a significant plus). Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related primary care specialty. Active DEA Registration (Required for prescribing). Must have a dedicated, private, and HIPAA-compliant workspace and a reliable high-speed internet connection. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
