Telehealth Physical Therapist
Bay State Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Telehealth Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a fully-remote position for a Massachusetts-based Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Conduct comprehensive virtual physical therapy evaluations using evidence-based assessment, clinical reasoning, and outcome measures.
ā¢ Develop clinically sound plans of care and communicate findings clearly to patients.
ā¢ Document all evaluations accurately and within required timeframes in Raintree EMR.
ā¢ Document a communication note for any evaluation not completed within the specified timeframe, including all scheduling attempts made.
ā¢ Help determine whether a patient is best served by a home exercise program or should proceed to a full evaluation.
Requirements:
ā¢ Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts.
ā¢ 3-plus years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
ā¢ Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection sufficient to support uninterrupted video-based patient care, along with a private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace.
ā¢ Strong technology proficiency, comfortable with EMRs (Raintree), telehealth platforms, and adopting new digital tools.
ā¢ Completion of Bay State Physical Therapy compliance training prior to patient care.
ā¢ Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical excellence in a virtual care setting.
ā¢ Prior telehealth or outpatient PT experience preferred but not required.
