Telehealth Coordinator (Puerto Rico residents only)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Telehealth Coordinator. This role involves coordinating virtual healthcare services, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers, and supporting the delivery of quality telehealth experiences. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and proficient in managing digital health platforms to facilitate effective remote care. Duties • Assist residents with scheduling and accessing telehealth appointments through various digital platforms • Provide technical support to patients before and during virtual consultations • Collect and document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems • Coordinate follow-up care and ensure patients receive necessary resources and instructions post-appointment • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to relay patient concerns and updates • Educate residents on telehealth procedures, privacy policies, and platform usage • Monitor appointment schedules to optimize provider availability and patient access • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations Preferred Qualifications • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish • Experience in healthcare, patient coordination, scheduling, or customer support • Familiarity with medical records (EMRs) • Experience supporting telehealth or virtual appointments • Experience working with elderly or medically complex patients • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Compassionate approach to patient support and engagement • Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality standards (HIPAA) This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to community health by facilitating accessible telehealth services.
