Teledentistry For Dentist/RDH
We are seeking licensed Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) and Dentists to join our innovative teledentistry platform. This is a unique, work-from-home opportunity that allows dental professionals to provide essential oral health services and education to patients nationwide through synchronous and asynchronous telehealth approaches.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Teledentistry Visit Management
Ā Organize and conduct teledentistry visits with assigned network patients
Ā Utilize both synchronous (real-time) and asynchronous telehealth approaches to provide comprehensive care
Ā Manage a dashboard of approximately 200 network patients per month
Ā Oral Health Services
Ā Provide preventive and basic dental services within the scope of teledentistry
Ā Conduct pre- and post-surgical care consultations
Ā Offer nutrition counseling related to oral health
Ā Provide tobacco cessation guidance and support
Ā Perform oral health assessments and screenings
Ā Recommend appropriate oral hygiene practices and products
Ā Patient Education and Counseling
Ā Deliver oral health education and hygiene instructions
Ā Conduct routine oral counseling sessions
Ā Explain dental procedures, treatment plans, and preventive measures
Ā Address patient concerns and questions regarding oral health
Ā Teledentistry Procedures
Ā Interpret dental radiographs and intraoral images remotely
Ā Guide patients through self-examinations and at-home care techniques
Ā Provide remote consultations for dental emergencies
Ā Offer virtual follow-up appointments to monitor healing and treatment progress
Ā Patient Engagement
Ā Proactively invite patients for routine oral counseling sessions
Ā Educate patients on the benefits of teledentistry and their assigned UHA benefits
Ā Foster a positive patient experience in the virtual dental care environment
Ā Documentation and Compliance
Ā Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ā Ensure all teledentistry practices comply with HIPAA regulations and state-specific teledentistry laws
Ā Adhere to professional standards and best practices in virtual dental care
Qualifications and Requirements
Ā Active and unrestricted license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or Dentist in your practicing state
Ā Proven experience in dental practice, with a strong foundation in preventive care and patient education
Ā Proficiency in using computers, internet-based platforms, and digital communication tools
Ā Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ā Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients in a virtual setting
Ā Thorough understanding of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Ā Willingness to comply with state and federal teledentistry business eligibility criteria
Ā Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ā Comfortable with technology and adaptable to new digital platforms and tools

Ā Work Schedule: Flexible Ā part-time or full-time options available based on your availability
Ā Location: Work from home Ā nationwide opportunity (must be licensed in the state of practice)
Ā Contract Type: Independent Teledentistry Contractor (must be prepared to comply with state business policies)
Ā Patient Load: Approximately 200 network patients assigned per month
Ā Support Provided: Dental Biller, Eligibility Verifier, training resources, digital platforms, and marketing tools provided by the company
