Part-time.OVERVIEW:Transcribe medical dictation utilizing proprietary software and a compatible foot pedal. Specialties include acute care and others.RESPONSIBILITIES: · Recognize interpretation and evaluates inconsistencies discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation and appropriate documents. · Use reference materials appropriately and efficiently to facilitate the accuracy clarity and completeness of reports. · Meet quality and productivity standards and deadlines established by the employer. · Verify patient information for accuracy and completeness. · Format reports according to established guidelines. · Demonstrate an understanding of the medicolegal implications andresponsibilitiesrelated to the transcription of patient records. · Understand and comply with policies and procedures related to medicolegal matters including confidentiality release of information medical records as legal evidence etc. · Must maintain employer's performance expectations.QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Ability to reach and maintain a high level of accuracy. · Knowledge of medical terminology AHDI guidelines and procedures. · Ability to operate designated word processing dictation and transcription equipment and other equipment as specified. · Excellent listening skills and ability to understand diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles.JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Home office set-up. · High speed internal Internet (NO satellite). · USB-Infinity foot pedal (DVI USB foot pedals not compatible).Headphones. · Windows 10, Intel I3 or better processor/AMD K4 or better, 8 GB RAM minimum, and 250 GB hard drive minimum.PAYMENT: $20.00 per audio hour transcribed.
