Telecommute Medical Support Chat Agent
Eagle Home Health is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Virtual or Office Medical Support Chat Agent. As a Medical Support Chat Agent, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and healthcare providers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility of working either virtually or in our office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ā¢ Provide professional and compassionate chat support to patients and healthcare providers
ā¢ Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding medical services and appointments
ā¢ Communicate with patients to collect necessary medical information
ā¢ Collaborate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and facilitate care coordination
ā¢ Monitor and respond to chat queues in a timely manner
ā¢ Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution
ā¢ Maintain accurate records of chat interactions within our system
ā¢ Adhere to all regulations and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS:
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent
ā¢ Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
ā¢ Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
ā¢ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
ā¢ Proficient with technology, including chat platforms and medical software
ā¢ Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
ā¢ Compassionate and able to provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position offers the flexibility to work either virtually or in our office. The virtual option requires a quiet and professional workspace with reliable internet and computer equipment. Our office environment provides a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere.
