Telecom Project Manager (Full-Time position)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT projects within the telecom sector. The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving innovation in telecom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning Execution:
ā¢ Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with telecom business needs.
ā¢ Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
ā¢ Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery within budget.
Stakeholder Management:
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, software developers, and business analysts.
ā¢ Act as the primary liaison between IT teams and telecom business units.
ā¢ Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
Technical Oversight:
ā¢ Manage IT system implementations such as OSS/BSS (Operational Support Systems / Business Support Systems).
ā¢ Oversee integration of telecom applications (CRM, billing, ERP, network management tools).
ā¢ Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Quality Management:
ā¢ Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
ā¢ Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
ā¢ Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (Master s preferred).
ā¢ 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in telecom IT projects.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of telecom systems (OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, ERP).
ā¢ Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello).
ā¢ Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
ā¢ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
ā¢ PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
Desired Attributes:
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced telecom environment.
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
ā¢ Experience working with vendors and third-party service providers.
ā¢ Knowledge of emerging telecom technologies (5G, IoT, cloud-based solutions).
