Telecom Construction Manager

Selectek is looking for a Telecom Construction Manager (VA Market) responsible for the project's construction schedule, expenses, and quality and safety. This position also manages the resources performing the construction work including direct reporting staff, matrix staff, and vendor and subcontractor resources.

Required:
• 5-7 years of industry experience
• Valid DL
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Engineering or technical degree preferred
• Clean Driving Record

Here is the posted list of responsibilities:
• Must maintain and enforce the company’s safety program, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
• Provides on-site analysis of ongoing specific construction projects; utilizing higher level construction managers or project managers for advice on changes in plans
• Interface with the client's engineering team, as well as utilizing the company's engineering and management team for decisions
• Installs the quality program for the company’s and subcontractors work, making certain all quality standards are met to customer specifications

Pay Rate: $45/hour (set rate for this role)

Term of assignment: 6+ month – long term contract role

Location of Job: Goochland/Charlottesville, VA

Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday; 8AM – 5PM; flex on hours (open to starting as early as 6:30AM)

WFH: Field position (travel and accommodations covered)

Remote: No

Overtime: Not much expected
