Telecom Construction Manager

Telecom Construction Manager – Northborough, MA (Hybrid/Travel Required) We’re seeking a Telecom Construction Manager to oversee wireless telecommunications projects across the Northborough, MA market. This role will lead construction activities from planning through completion, ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in wireless construction—particularly those with experience managing AT&T cell site builds, maintenance, or upgrades—who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all phases of telecom construction projects including scheduling, budgeting, quality, and safety. • Manage direct reports, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals and timelines are met. • Enforce and maintain company and client safety standards; review daily safety plans and stop work when unsafe conditions exist. • Conduct on-site analysis and provide direction for field activities. • Partner with engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure technical accuracy and project compliance. • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure all work meets client and industry specifications. • Support project completion efforts with flexibility for day, night, or weekend work as needed. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of wireless construction experience required (wireless experience preferred over fiber). • Current or recent AT&T project experience strongly preferred. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed throughout the MA market. • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Active OSHA-30 Certification preferred. • Must be able to work independently in the field and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Additional Details • Compensation: $80,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience. • Travel: Required within the market area; standard travel expenses (mileage, lodging, etc.) covered. • Schedule: Hybrid – combination of remote work, office coordination, and field site management.
