Position Overview: As a remoteSpecial Education Teacher in Michigan, you will be responsible for providing virtual instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Β Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Β Use online learning tools and platforms to engage students in interactive lessons(Provided).
Β Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
Β Monitor and assess student progress through virtual assessments and data collection.
Β Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educational staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Β Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
Β Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field).
Β Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification).
Β Experience teaching students with disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental or emotional challenges.
Β Tech-savvy with experience using virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams).
