About the position

The Teen Specialist at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is responsible for overseeing all teen programs at assigned Clubhouse(s). This role involves planning, developing, reporting, and implementing programs that support youth development outcomes for members aged 6-18. The Teen Specialist also assists with operational functions and may act as the Clubhouse supervisor in the absence of higher management. The position emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and creating a positive environment for youth engagement.

Responsibilities
? Plan, create, and oversee the administration of teen programs and activities.
,
? Establish teen program objectives in collaboration with the Programs team.
,
? Oversee day-to-day program activities in accordance with established standards and goals.
,
? Encourage member participation in various program areas and provide constructive feedback.
,
? Demonstrate leadership in relation to members, parents, and staff to ensure a safe environment.
,
? Serve as a mentor and role model for members.
,
? Promote and communicate programs, activities, and events to members and families.
,
? Enforce Clubhouse rules and organizational policies.
,
? Drive Club vans as needed.
,
? Maintain a professional appearance reflective of the organization's standards.

Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent.
,
? Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with middle school and/or high school aged youth.
,
? Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
,
? Ability to effectively manage multi-age groups of children in various activities.
,
? Demonstrated responsibility for the safety and well-being of others.
,
? Strong communication skills.
