Techno Functional expert of the Shape-Based Search Tool (GEOLUS, OnePart, CADENAS or CADBAS)

JOB DESCRIPTION Possess rich functional and technical experience on leveraging the search tool capabilities. Has technical knowledge on configuring and customizing search tool to meet department-specific needs (e.g., material, cost, supplier). Awareness on advancements in geometric search algorithms and AI-powered part recognition Have experience on deployment and integration of shape-based search tools within CAD/PLM/ERP ecosystems (e.g., Teamcenter, NX, Creo, SAP). Good experience in development and maintenance of searchable 3D part libraries using JT, STEP, STL, and other neutral formats. Have experience in collaborating with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams to identify duplicate parts and promote standardization. Interact with customer SMEs to ensure good understanding on their application landscapes, requirements & current challenges. Familiar with capabilities around metadata management, classification systems, part taxonomy, Should Cost assessments, Maintaining Product Score Card, Workflow Integrations to route to right engineer for reviewing the similar parts and take corrective actions, Streamlined lead time assumptions for the RPM programs. Report generation indicating tool capability in meeting customer requirements based on tool knowledge & experience and market based assessments. Excellent communication skills to support cross-functional teams. 1Analytical mindset with ability to interpret search results and drive actionable insights. ________________________________________ Secondary Skills: Minimum 5+ years of experience in CAD/PLM environments with hands-on expertise in search tool. Strong understanding of 3D geometry, CAD modeling, and file formats (JT, STEP, STL, etc.). Experience with PLM systems like Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DExperience. Have experience on training engineering and procurement teams on effective use of shape search tools for part reuse and cost reduction. Education : Engineering Degree. Apply tot his job
