Our internally-developed applications are a fundamental part of live-operating Sky for millions of active players.As a Technical Writer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our product user experience by creating high-quality documentation and in-app help content. You will work closely with product managers, developers, UX designers, and support teams to ensure our content is accurate, accessible, and helpful.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and maintain user-facing documentation including user guides, how-tos, FAQs, and release notesDevelop concise, intuitive in-app help and tooltips that support users at the point of needCollaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate technical informationEnsure content is consistent in tone, style, and formatting across the product and documentationOrganize and structure content to make it easy to search, navigate, and consumeParticipate in product testing and documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and usabilityUpdate and revise content in line with product changes and user feedbackKey QualificationsBachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field3+ years of experience in technical writing or similar role (internships may count towards this requirement)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to explain complex concepts in clear, simple language to multiple audiences with differing levels of technical literacy, including internal and external developers and usersFamiliarity with SaaS products and general software development terminologyExperience writing for a SaaS application or working in a software development environmentBasic understanding of documentation tools such as Google Docs, Confluence, or similarStrong attention to detail and a user-focused mindsetBonus PointsPassion for gaming, and experience writing technical documentation in the game industryFamiliarity with content management systems, version control (Git), or help authoring toolsUnderstanding of UX principles and how documentation fits into the user journeyBasic HTML/CSS knowledgeExposure to tools like Figma and JiraPassion for learning new technologies and continuously improving documentation quality We look forward to meeting you!
