As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating, organizing, and publishing clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to create high-quality documentation that helps users understand and effectively use EngFlowâs products.
Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and FAQs.
Organize and structure documentation to enhance usability and accessibility.
Publish and manage content using documentation platforms and version control systems.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product developments.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for different audiences (developers, DevOps teams, and technical decision-makers).
Maintain consistency and quality in documentation through templates, style guides, and content reviews.
Gather user feedback to improve documentation and address common pain points.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in technical writing for developer tools, SaaS, or cloud platforms.
Ability to explain complex technical topics in a user-friendly way.
Experience with Markdown, HTML, Git, and documentation tools (e.g., MkDocs, Docusaurus, ReadTheDocs).
Familiarity with CI/CD, build systems, DevOps, or cloud computing (bonus: Bazel).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Bonus Skills
Experience with API documentation (Swagger, OpenAPI).
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Familiarity with developer communities and open-source projects.
