STAR7 Group is recruiting Translators from English into Norwegian to be part of our growing Teams.
In this role you will:
ā¢ Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
ā¢ Perform linguistic tasks as per project instructions and other references (translation memory, glossary, style guides, etc.)
ā¢ Ensure high-grammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references
ā¢ Correct formatting/tagging, punctuation, country specifics, terminology, style, fluency as per guidelines
Requirements
ā¢ Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
ā¢ Native speaker in Norwegian language
ā¢ Excellent command of the English language in both comprehension and writing
ā¢ Preferred experience in translation and proofreading specialized in Technical field
ā¢ IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools
ā¢ Comfortable with technology and open to learn to use new tools
ā¢ Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
ā¢ Adaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities
ā¢ Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines
ā¢ Problem solving and decision-making skills
