The Technical Support Engineer role involves providing timely resolutions to technical issues for Cohesity customers, utilizing tools for troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering and account management teams to ensure high levels of support. Responsibilities Work with Cohesity customers to provide a timely resolution to technical issues that they may encounter Use available tools to investigate and troubleshoot technical issues Record customer interactions, including investigation, troubleshooting, and the resolution of issues Work closely with Cohesity engineering and account management teams Demonstrate considerable judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Provide the best experience possible for Cohesity customers Manage workload to ensure that all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner Assist in the development of comprehensive and reusable self-service solutions for future incidents Develop knowledge base article Skills Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field & graduating in 2026 Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving – Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly Operating Systems Knowledge – Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux Networking Basics – Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches Basic Scripting & Automation (optional but valuable) – Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python Benefits Health and wellness benefits Vacation Paid holidays and refresh days 401(k) retirement plan Life and disability insurance coverages Other benefits the Company may offer from time to time Company Overview Cohesity is a data management technology firm that offers hyper-converged secondary storage solutions for backups, files, and analytics.
