This is where you step in.About the RoleAs a Solution Engineer at 8returns, you’ll own the technical solutions that make our platform seamless for merchants. You’ll build and maintain integrations, create automation and AI tooling to reduce onboarding time, and quickly resolve technical friction points. If you enjoy delivering pragmatic solutions and thrive at the intersection of product, customers, and technology, this role is for you.✨ About You (musts)3+ years of experience developing and maintaining production integrations or middleware (APIs, webhooks, job queues).Proficiency in at least one server-side technology stack (Node.js/TypeScript, Ruby/Rails, or Go), with the flexibility to learn others as needed.Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication methods (JWT/HMAC), background job systems (e.g., BullMQ, Sidekiq), and data mapping techniques.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and resolve technical issues efficiently.Proven capability to independently progress from identifying a vague problem to delivering a robust solution.
