You will be responsible for hiring engineers for one of our four engineering teams, building a close relationship with the team's hiring manager and taking ownership of big hiring goals. Every hire you bring on board will play a direct role in building the future of ML infrastructure at Baseten.RESPONSIBILITIESFull-cycle recruiting: Own the hiring goals and end-to-end recruiting process, from role kickoff through offer acceptance, for one of our engineering teamsSourcing excellence: Work closely with hiring managers to define what "excellent" looks like for a given role. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build pipelines of highly qualified candidates, leveraging tools and creative outreach. Candidate experience: Ensure a smooth experience for every candidate, with clear communication and timely updates throughout the processProcess improvements: Continuously refine and scale recruiting processes to increase efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and improve quality of hireData-driven insights: Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion rates, acceptance rates) to inform how you spend your timeREQUIREMENTS5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a rapidly growing startup environment with big headcount goalsProven success sourcing excellent mid- and senior-level engineering candidates with specialized backgroundsStrong willingness to take ownership of a team's hiring goals and proactively drive recruiting process improvements to achieve those goalsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple searches and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBENEFITSCompetitive compensation package.This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing startup in one of the most exciting engineering fields of our era.An inclusive and supportive work culture that fosters learning and growth.Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI!
