Both are equally important.What you’ll doBe the first hire in any talent, HR, or recruiting functionPartner with cofounders and functional leads to build and execute effective strategies to source, assess, and close high caliber candidates across engineering and other functionsManage full-cycle recruiting for multiple, complex roles including initial interviews, progress through the entire pipeline (in Ashby ATS), and offer/closing stageInitiate and develop highly effective recruiting strategies to make key hires rapidlyLeverage data to evaluate and optimize current hiring processes thereby driving better outcomes for the businessBe willing to do whatever it takes at a moment’s notice to capitalize on an opportunity - the market moves quickly and so should youWhat you’ll need to get the job doneMinimum 2+ of full lifecycle technical recruiting/sourcing experience that must include experience at a startup or high growth technology company.Demonstrated knowledge of technical job profiles and ability to discuss roles with technical candidates (e.g. software engineers, engineering managers, etc.)Ability to thrive and grow in a small, early-stage startup environmentExtremely high caliber written and verbal communication skills - you communicate with precision and intentionalityStrong ability to drive the hiring process forward and deliver outcomes for the business despite obstacles and road blocksTop percentile work ethicFun and collaborative teammate to be aroundWhat we offerInteresting and challenging workCompetitive base salary + generous early employee equity + benefits100% medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for you and your dependents (U.S.)Unlimited PTOParental leaveBeautiful NYC office in the heart of Flatiron
