About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Google Cloud team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving complex, multi-disciplinary projects from conception to delivery. Your technical expertise, leadership abilities, and collaborative mindset will be essential in ensuring the success of our global infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and stakeholders, to address the global fleet of Third-Party Data Centers (3PDC), driving project goals and objectives.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop comprehensive analyses, and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
Design and automate metrics, building and prototyping dashboards to provide actionable insights at scale.
Drive process improvements through data analysis, visualization, and business recommendations, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to optimize 3PDC operations.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
At least 3 years of experience in program management, with a focus on technical projects and cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of managing complex projects, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and data visualization using tools like spreadsheets and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Technical program management experience, with a deep understanding of software development life cycles and technical project planning.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive project goals and objectives, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining relationships.
