Technical Product Engineer - 100% Remote

Job Responsibilities:
As a Technical Product Engineer for the B2C Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional technical/engineering support to our customers. You will be supported by the B2C Technical Lead with guidance, support, and supervision in your role.

While maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, you will respond promptly, and within the company’s Service Level Agreement (SLA). While providing support, you will utilize up-selling and cross-selling to promote Progressive Automations products.

Your primary responsibilities revolve around bridging the gap between the technical aspects of the Progressive Automations products and its practical applications for customers and end-users. You will assist in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting problems related to our products via various channels (phone calls, email tickets, chats).

The TPE may collaborate closely with colleagues as necessary, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment. Documenting and communicating website, datasheet and product issues to the Technical Lead will show strong attention to detail.

Required Skills and Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience in a technical product engineering role, customer support, client services, sales or a related field.
Experience with linear motion, actuators, control systems or DC motors is considered an asset.
Ability to stay calm and de-escalate when customers are stressed or upset.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional English communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience working with CRMs and sales enablement platforms, like HubSpot, and familiarity with ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
Successful candidates must be willing to sign non-compete, intellectual property right and confidentiality agreements.
Availability to work during Pacific Time Zone business hours (40 hours/week)
