Technical Lead

As a Technical Lead, you will be working closely with a team of project managers, developers, and engineers in an Agile environment for developing innovative solutions for our customers. You are also responsible for designing and developing AI and cloud-based solutions. Developing best practices, integrating modern systems, and collaborating cross-functionally with product and data engineering teams. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. What you will do: Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions (AWS GovCloud / Azure) Develop and manage AI/LLM solutions (RAG pipelines, agent-based workflows) Define and enforce architecture standards, review gates, and best practices Integrate systems across modern and legacy interfaces (REST, APIs, SOAP, data feeds) Implement event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration Establish AI guardrails, including prompt security and risk mitigation Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver MVP and scale solutions Support technical training and knowledge transfer to government stakeholders What you will bring: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership roles Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GovCloud Hands-on experience with AI/ML and LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI Service, RAG pipelines) Experience designing distributed or event-driven systems Strong knowledge of API integrations and multi-system interoperability Experience with secure system design (Zero Trust, FedRAMP environments preferred) Proficiency in modern programming languages in full-stack environments such as Python, JavaScript and others) Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills It would be great if you also had: Experience working on federal or regulated environments Experience working in an agile/scrum environment Benefits Nuvitek is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Disability and Life Insurance Parental Leave 401K Paid Time Off Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Nuvitek is an equal-opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
