Technical Engineer

The Associate Technical Engineer will perform engineering calculations and evaluations while providing technical support to customers and company personnel. Responsibilities Perform heat transfer, fluid flow, and mechanical calculations to support the design of company’s products Perform design reviews for engineered products to assure that design intent and design optimization is achieved Receive in-bound and make out-bound customer calls to evaluate projects, provide technical support, address customer questions, and discover sales opportunities Produce engineering reports, data sheets, memos, and specifications related to any and all of the above Skills BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar Ability to perform engineering calculations in Matlab, MathCAD, Excel or other software Domestic and International travel will be required 0-2 years experience preferred Company Overview AMETEK is a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.
