About the Role
• We’re looking for a Technical Consultant to support the delivery, deployment, and ongoing technical operations of clinisys solutions across on‑premise, cloud, and hosted environments. • Produce and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, DR plans, and training materials.
• Work within ITIL‑aligned processes, collaborating with project managers, pre‑sales, and service teams.
• Support out‑of‑hours work, on‑call rota participation, and occasional travel.
• Contribute to internal systems, quality documentation, and technical knowledge sharing.
• Assist with client and staff training where required.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong experience deploying software via Azure DevOps pipelines, with advanced YAML and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualisation (VMWare/Hyper‑V), Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, networking, clustering, NLB, firewalls, and SAN storage.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across networking, connectivity, storage, and web services.
• Experience working within ITIL frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non‑technical users.
• Experience producing professional technical documentation.
• Good problem‑solving, organisational skills, and ability to work independently/remote.
• Exposure to AI‑assisted tooling (e.g., MS Copilot) for workflow optimisation.

Desirable Skills
• Azure experience (support or DevOps).
• Cloud computing exposure.
• Oracle RAC/Data Guard or MSSQL knowledge.
• Experience in the UK or Ireland health sectors.
• Microsoft certifications, ITIL, or similar.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in an IT environment.
• Relevant Microsoft qualifications (or working toward them).

This role requires a working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes. A core understanding of AI concepts is required and must be able to demonstrate the use of AI tools in a professional setting.

As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend / travel to the office on their first day of employment. This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including the identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
