Required Skills and Experience
⢠6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
⢠Strong domain understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Operations, and operational reporting.
⢠Experience working with ERP data, preferably across multiple ERP/source systems.
⢠Strong understanding of data mapping, source-to-target requirements, business rules, data quality validation, and reporting logic.
⢠Experience with BI/reporting projects, preferably involving Power BI, semantic models, or enterprise data platforms.
⢠Ability to work with business users to define KPIs and translate them into measurable reporting requirements.
⢠Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
⢠Experience supporting UAT, report validation, and stakeholder sign-off.
⢠Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Work directly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
⢠Understand and document KPI definitions, business rules, calculation logic, filters, dimensions, and reporting expectations.
⢠Support requirements for SCM KPIs such as inventory, delivery, working capital, cost, people, order fill, vendor OTD, lead time, freight cost, PPV, and related operational measures.
⢠Partner with data engineers and BI engineers to translate business requirements into data mapping, transformation, semantic model, and reporting specifications.
⢠Help identify source system data gaps, quality issues, harmonization needs, and manual data requirements.
⢠Coordinate with customer SMEs and data stewards for validation of business rules, KPI definitions, and UAT sign-off.
⢠Review Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business requirements and usability expectations.
⢠Facilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, validation sessions, and issue-resolution discussions.
⢠Maintain requirement traceability from business need to source data, transformation logic, semantic model, report output, and UAT acceptance.
⢠Support change management by documenting new, changed, or deferred requirements clearly.
Preferred Skills
⢠Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data lakehouse concepts, or Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture.
⢠Prior experience in manufacturing analytics or supply chain transformation programs.
⢠Familiarity with KPIs such as Healthy Inventory Ratio, Days of Supply, Aged Inventory, Cycle Count Accuracy, DPO, Order Fill, Vendor OTD, Lead Time, Freight % of Sales, Tariff Cost, PPV, Cost Savings, Headcount, and Attrition.
⢠Experience working with global manufacturing sites or multi-site operational reporting.
⢠Basic SQL understanding to support data validation and requirement analysis.
⢠Experience working in Agile/Sprint-based delivery models.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, information Systems, or related discipline.
