Arm is seeking a motivated early-career Technical Author to join their Strategy and Ecosystems team. The role involves creating documentation that helps developers build software on Arm technologies and provides hands-on experience with modern documentation workflows and tools.ResponsibilitiesReview and edit Arm Learning Paths and Install Guides to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibilityLearn and apply docs-as-code workflows using Git and MarkdownUse AI tools to assist with drafting, editing, and optimizing content for readability and SEOReview and validate AI-generated content to ensure alignment with technical and editorial standardsCollaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to plan and prioritize content updatesDevelop time management skills to meet regular content release schedulesSupport accessibility and inclusive design practices in all documentationSkillsBachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and editing abilitiesInterest in technology and software development conceptsCuriosity and willingness to ask questions to learn from technical expertsStrong attention to detail and dedication to qualityCollaborative approach and eagerness to learn new tools and skillsFamiliarity with style guides helpful but not required - we'll teach you!Command-line tools and version control (Git) - learned gradually over first 3 monthsDocumentation formats like Markdown and static site generators such as HugoAI-powered content creation, editing, and optimization tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub CopilotCompany OverviewArm’s foundational technology is defining the future of computing.
