Technical Animator

Description
The Technical Animator is responsible for liaising between the creative and programming teams to optimize animation assets for export. Our ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge and applied hands-on skills. SpinPlay Games Technical Animators are natural problem solvers and clear communicators who pay attention to details.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Create and animate characters, environments, and FX in different styles.
ā¢ Applies knowledge of techniques to meet memory limitations.
ā¢ Prepares assets for export in the most cost efficient manner, considering size, dimensions, and resolution.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
ā¢ Minimum 6 years experience using Spine, ideally without use of the mesh tool
ā¢ Minimum 6 years experience in 2D animation, drawing and illustration
ā¢ Experience in mobile platforms required; slot machine games highly preferred
ā¢ Knowledge in 3D animation is a plus
ā¢ Applications without a 2D animation portfolio will not be considered.
