Penn's Cave seeks energetic applicants to fill tour guide and caf? positions. Our tour guides may be cross trained for both the cavern and farm-nature-wildlife tours. As the need and season dictates, our guides and caf? staff will also be trained on and assigned to various other duties on the grounds or within the visitor's center (e.g., checking/cleaning restrooms, parking cars, sweeping/mopping floors, collecting trash, working in the gift shop, assisting with gift shop stocking/inventory, manning the Miner's Maze, and/or helping on the farm and/or wildlife park).
Comprehensive paid training is provided by seasoned staff. We offer a team friendly environment and competitive pay with potential salary adjustments based upon guiding sign-off by a Penn's Cave manager, and acquired cave and wildlife tour guide experience, and increased cross-training for new areas of responsibility.
Successful candidates must be in good physical condition (neither the cave nor the farm-nature-wildlife park is handicapped accessible), maintain a positive attitude, possess good verbal skills, have reliable transportation to and from our grounds, and be able to pass a drug test. Background checks and/or physicals may be required. Tour guide candidates must also possess a valid, current drivers license. As we are a tourist attraction, all successful candidates must be available to work weekends and holiday
