Job Description

We are looking for passionate and dedicated educators to join our team as Remote Teachers for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities

Full-Time Position (37.5 hours per week):

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

Provide instruction, support, and guidance to students through virtual platforms.

Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure an exceptional educational experience.

Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Part-Time Position (Flexible Hours)

Customize lesson plans to meet the individualized needs of students.

Deliver engaging and effective instruction via virtual platforms.

Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enrich the learning experience.

Maintain communication with parents and guardians as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Deaf Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Appropriate state teaching certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required.

Experience teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to remote teaching technologies and platforms.

Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to the success of all students.
