As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a hands-on, self-directed Accountants Receivables Specialist to support a full cycle of Accounts Receivables and other duties in Accounting Operation in a federal contracting environment . The ideal candidate is a well-rounded accounting professional with a strong working knowledge of Unanet, experience supporting cost-type government contracts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced small business environment. Key Responsibilities Work with Contracts to set up new projects in Unanet and ensure billing begins immediately. Manage and execute customer billings (primarily cost-type include billable expenses, occasionally T&M/FFP) within Unanet ; ensure alignment with contract funding and billing terms. Make any required corrections to timesheets/invoices and submit to customers for processing. Address issues raised by customers and prepared revised invoices as needed. Collaborate closely with Program Managers to align billing and funding accuracy. Reconcile all revenue accounts on the Income Statement after invoice is completed. Work closely with Sr. Staff Accountant to resolve invoices in a past-due status. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability as the company grows. Other duties and assignments as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required). Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience , preferably in a government contracting environment . Demonstrated experience with: Unanet (required; accounting and timekeeping modules). Billing and eCraft reporting. Strong knowledge of cost-type contract billing . Strong understanding of GAAP and government cost principles. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a small-business environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting analysis tools. Additional Details Work Environment: Fully remote. Must be available for travel to the Wayne, PA headquarters approximately once per quarter (or as needed).
