Tax Professional – U.S. Tax & International Tax
Client-facing tax advisor for U.S. filings, international tax matters, onboarding, and summaries
Position Summary
This role provides tax advisory and client support for U.S. and International tax clients. Responsibilities include onboarding, conducting tax summary calls, answering tax-related questions, completing U.S. returns, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct onboarding calls and gather tax documents.
• Prepare U.S. individual returns (1040), business returns (1120/1120‑S/1065), and international forms (FBAR, 5471, 5472, 8938, 1116, 2555, etc.).
• Support clients with U.S. tax, cross‑border tax, and Act 60‑related U.S. impacts.
• Conduct tax summary review calls in English & Spanish.
• Respond to client questions about deductions, residency, international reporting, PR/US interactions, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with PR tax, accounting, and compliance teams.
• Maintain notes and status updates in TaxDome.
• Review workpapers, assist with planning, and escalate complex cases to managers.
Required Qualifications
• Bilingual English/Spanish (fluent).
• 5+ years experience in U.S. tax preparation.
• Knowledge of international tax forms and foreign reporting (mandatory).
• Experience in client-facing or advisory environments.
• CPA or EA preferred (not required but increases compensation).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
