Tax Preparer (Part-Time / PRN – 1099 Contractor)
About the Role: GFT Tax Solutions is hiring Tax Preparers for the upcoming season. New or experienced applicants are welcome — training is provided. You’ll assist clients with personal and small business tax returns while enjoying flexible hours and the freedom of independent contract work. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file individual and small business tax returns (e.g., 1040, Schedule C, etc.) • Communicate with clients and review documents • Ensure accuracy and IRS/state compliance Qualifications: • No experience required (training provided) • PTIN preferred (can be obtained before the season) • EFIN holders welcome • Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated Compensation: • Fee-based pay per return (commission) • Bonus opportunities available • 1099 independent contractor To Apply: Submit your resume, availability, and a short note about your interest.
