About the position
Responsibilities
• Prepare and file federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, assisting them with tax-related inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely tax preparation and filing.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
• Utilize Intuit's resources and tools to enhance the tax preparation process.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping clients with their tax needs.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with commercial tax preparation software other than Intuit products.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
