Tax Preparer

Lee Neville Tax is a rapidly growing small business that was established in 2019. Lee Neville Tax offers services for tax preparation & planning, bookkeeping & accounting, and other business needs. We mainly serve small businesses including Realtors, Financial Advisors, Photographers, and Landlords with rental properties. Job Duties • Preparation of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120s, and 1120) • Review client’s financial statements and make adjustments for preparation of tax returns • Review individual tax returns with Sch C and Sch E • Suggest tax savings strategies to clients upon review • Set up QuickBooks Online accounts for client • Train clients on how to properly use QuickBooks Online • Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquires, and tax notices • Communicate directly with existing clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters Qualifications • 8-10+ years minimum of relevant experience • Experience in individual tax compliance and planning • Tax research experience • Experience in Corporation & Partnership tax returns is a must • Experience in partnership tax would be a plus • A team player that is outgoing and friendly • Forward-thinking and enjoy keeping up to date with the tax industry regulations and policies • Enjoys Training, Mentoring, and leading by example with staff Perks & Benefits • Competitive Salary • Flexible Hours • Simple IRA 3% automatic contribution for our employees • No minimum hours during tax season • PTO #hc199483 Apply tot his job
