Tax Paralegal
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Paralegal to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and in-office, catering to a flexible work-life balance. Key Responsibilities:
⢠Prepare, file, and monitor a variety of IRS tax election forms, including but not limited to Section 83(b), Forms 8832, 8875, 2553, 1023, and SS-4.
⢠Engage with the IRS, clients, attorneys, and other agencies to ensure seamless tax filing processes.
⢠Compile, manage, and distribute documents for signatures, maintaining original records and overseeing distribution.
⢠Collaborate with tax group members and cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive support.
⢠Identify and resolve issues related to tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
⢠Conduct thorough legal research on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
⢠Monitor critical deadlines to ensure the timely filing of tax documents and legal submissions.
⢠Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
⢠Bachelor's Degree required.
⢠Experience as a paralegal in a law firm or a multinational company is essential.
⢠Strong knowledge of California and federal tax regulations.
⢠Proficiency in legal research tools and government databases.
⢠Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
⢠Ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and work independently.
⢠High level of professionalism with outstanding organizational skills.
⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and legal case management software.
