Tax & Ops Specialist

Job description: We are seeking a hard-working, detail oriented and bright individual to join our team and help is deliver value to clients on a variety of tax projects/filings and support the team. This includes:Client Work (75%) • Track active tax clients and engagements to ensure that compliance and filing deadlines are met. • Prepare income tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S) and work with internal team on other compliance filings (sales tax, property tax, BOI). • Assist CEO with tax planning calculations and research tax strategies. • Assist with accounting clients on an as needed basis. Firm Operations (25%) • Manage CEO's email and calendars. • Assist CEO with issuing Engagement Letters and on-boarding new clients. • Track active engagements to promptly issue invoices and follow up on past due invoices. • Assist team with internal requests and provide on-boarding for new team members. You: • Are located in the United States. • Are looking for an entry level role in a close-knit environment. Preference given to those with an Accounting degree, or degree in a similar field, have a CPA or EA designation. • Have 1-3 years of experience working in the Financial Services industry. • Are passionate about Tax! • Thrive in environments where collaboration is key. • Excellent client service skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent organization skills.
