Tax Manager ( FULLY REMOTE) Remote | Full-Time | $125,000–$130,000 base + bonus Full Benefits Our client is a high-impact, boutique tax strategy firm serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. They specialize in developing personalized tax strategies. With a strong focus on real estate and generational wealth building, they’re transforming clients' financial lives and setting new standards in advanced tax planning. They’re now seeking a Tax Manager to lead and elevate their tax preparation department. This is a rare opportunity to take on a high-visibility leadership role in a fast-growing, mission-driven firm. What You’ll Do • Manage, mentor, and develop internal tax preparers across two advisory teams • Oversee workflow and performance of offshore tax preparation contractors • Review complex federal, state, and local returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profits • Identify process improvements to enhance speed and accuracy • Create training resources and lead technical development sessions • Serve as a final review point and technical resource on complex filings • Coordinate with internal departments and external tax authorities on audits and correspondence • Leverage technology tools (UltraTax, G-Suite, CRM) to drive efficiency and streamline workflows What You Bring • 5–8 years of progressive tax preparation and compliance experience • 2–3 years in a management or supervisory role • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus) • CPA • Strong command of UltraTax and advanced knowledge of: • Corporate and partnership returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065) • Trusts, non-profits, LLCs, and S-corps • Experience working remotely and coordinating with offshore teams • Excellent communication and organizational skills • High attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset Additional Notes • Position is 100% remote with flexible time zone considerations • Ideal start: October / November • Candidates with trust and non-profit tax experience are highly encouraged to apply Remote About the Company: Crawford Thomas Recruiting Apply tot his job
