Increased PTO at 3 year & 10 year anniversary + 1 month paid sabbatical every 5 years + Anniversary Bonus each year$500 first year remote office setup + $400 each following year for new equipmentInternet reimbursement up to $75 per monthGym membership reimbursement up to $50 per monthCompany-paid Wellable subscriptionJoin VultrThe Accounting and Finance team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Tax Manager.What to expect: Collaborate with the Global Tax Director and external advisors to prepare, review, and file U.S. federal and state income tax returns, tax position papers, and transfer pricing documentation.Prepare and manage U.S. federal and state tax provision workpapers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for state tax notices, responding to inquiries and managing state tax audits.Oversee sales tax, use tax, and property tax compliance, coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external preparers to ensure timely and accurate filings.Proactively assist in identifying and implementing global tax planning strategies to support the company’s overall business objectives.Our new team member will need:5+ years of tax accounting experience at the senior or manager level, in either public accounting or a corporate tax departmentBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Master’s in Taxation preferredStrong technical knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and partnership/corporate tax compliance and reportingCPA license and/or Big 4 experience a plus, or a proven track record of success in corporate tax rolesFamiliarity with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) highly preferredProficient with tax software and Microsoft Office applicationsDetail-oriented, organized, and skilled at managing multiple deadlines and solving complex problemsStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetCompensation$110,000 - $120,000 This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.Vultr is committed to an inclusive workforce where diversity is celebrated and supported.
