Tax Consultant - ASC 740
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tax professional for a publicly traded US domestic banking client on a project basis. This role is fully remote and is expected to complete in 4-5 months.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare ASC 740 income tax provisions, corresponding memos, tax compliance and research for a large public corporation.
• Calculate deferred tax assets and liabilities from temporary differences between the book and tax bases of assets and liabilities.
• Analyze and document uncertain tax positions
• Assess valuation allowances on deferred tax assets, analyze future taxable income projections and tax planning strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 5+ years of relevant Tax Provision experience at a large corporate
• 3+ years of OneSource Tax Provision software
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
