A premier international law firm in Midtown Manhattan is hiring a Tax Associate Attorney (24 years) to join its high-performing Tax Practice Group. This hybrid position requires 3+ days onsite and offers a salary range of $250K-$360K, plus exceptional benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Advise on tax structuring for M&A, joint ventures, and fund formations
ā¢ Support private equity/hedge funds on formation, operations, and compliance
ā¢ Research and draft legal memos, client alerts, and tax opinions
ā¢ Provide support during IRS audits, appeals, and litigation
ā¢ Analyze cross-border transactions and international tax compliance (FATCA/CRS)
ā¢ Collaborate with corporate, real estate, and private client teams
Qualifications:
ā¢ J.D. from a top-tier law school; NY bar admission required
ā¢ LL.M. in Taxation preferred
ā¢ 24 years experience in tax law at a major firm or tax boutique
ā¢ Expertise in corporate, partnership, and international tax
ā¢ Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills
