About the position As a Senior Intelligence Analyst at GDIT, you will ensure the safety and security of our nation by applying the latest technology and providing operational support to deliver actionable intelligence. You will leverage open source and commercial software tools to review, assess, and collect data from a variety of sources, including news publications, blogs, social media platforms, and more. Your role will involve evaluating internet information from various sources to identify investigative opportunities and intelligence to support programs related to cybercrime, narcotics, identity theft, and workplace violence. Responsibilities • Evaluate internet information from social media, chats, forums, darknet, TOR network, news feeds, and other sources. • Analyze data to identify investigative opportunities and intelligence. • Perform prioritized assessments of data to identify critical and reliable information. • Create intelligence and investigative reports detailing the steps taken and conclusions drawn. • Use technology solutions to search, analyze, and prioritize marketplaces and criminals. • Conduct analyses and prepare reports using tabular, pictorial, or graphical techniques. Requirements • 7+ years of related experience in intelligence operations. • Strong experience with cryptocurrency tracing and law enforcement. • Advanced understanding of methods used by cyber-criminals. • Experience with cyber intelligence tools and software. • Strong communication and presentation skills. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's degree in engineering, cyber, or related discipline. • 2-3 years of experience with blockchain, mixers, tumblers, and money laundering techniques. • Experience with visual tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, or i2 Analyst Notebook.
