OverviewTanaq Management Services (TMS) delivers professional, scientific, and technical services and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies in health, agriculture, technology, and other government services. TMS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders.About the RoleWe are seeking an Accreditation and Compliance Support Nurse to provide specialized support leveraging extensive knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards and tools for the Clinical Quality Management (CQM) Program at the Defense Health Agency (DHA).This is a fully remote position based in the United States. Must be available between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday. This position is contingent upon contract award.ResponsibilitiesProvide extensive knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards in application and assessment of compliance. Provide working knowledge of TJC tools. Provide experience as a Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP). Able to apply experience from working in corporate HQ, large medical systems, or with MHS or DHA. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff. Provide excellent coaching/mentoring skills.Provide a weekly Accreditation and Compliance project status report to be included in the CQM Weekly Performance report.Follow all statutes, Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI’s), and DHA policies and procedures pertaining to the CQM program, training requirements, standards of conduct as established by the DHA Director. and program reporting protocols.Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 10 years combined clinical and administrative healthcare experience.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accreditation and compliance at a large healthcare system, corporate healthcare or HQ.Must have experience supporting the MHS/DHA.Experience in Corporate, HQ or large medical system preferred.Effectively communicate at various levels within the organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust or equivalent DHA security clearance and customer approval.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Education and TrainingBachelor’s degree or higher in nursing. An Associate’s degree in nursing with significant directly related experience may be considered.Registered Nurse with the ability to maintain current, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure.Must be a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM). This is mandatory.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
