About the position The Talent Attraction Sourcer (Contract) at Curtiss-Wright is a crucial role within the Global Talent Acquisition Team, focusing on proactively sourcing and engaging candidates to build a diverse talent pipeline for critical positions. This position requires creativity and a strong drive to discover hidden talent while ensuring compliance with hiring policies and practices. Responsibilities • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Business Partners to understand talent needs and requirements. • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques, focusing on passive talent. • Recommend and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates. • Network through industry-related groups and specialty job boards to create a buzz in the talent market. • Source, cultivate, and conduct prescreens to recommend candidates to the Talent Acquisition Partner. • Perform market research to identify diverse external talent pools and execute diversity sourcing initiatives. • Participate in and coordinate job fairs for recruitment purposes. • Maintain detailed records and information on sourced talent. • Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, practices, and company values. Requirements • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance. • Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer/Recruiter in engineering or a technical field. • Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with all participants in the recruiting process. • In-depth knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn, Recruiter, and Indeed. • Ability to quickly adapt to a heavy workload and proven experience in doing so. • Familiarity with sourcing for niche technical roles to assess candidate qualifications effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills and a tenacious attitude for sourcing. • Ability to travel for job fairs as required. • Previous ATS experience, preferably with Workday. • A quiet, secure work-from-home space with the ability to communicate openly. • Resilience for change and ambiguity to support the fast-paced changing needs of the business.
