Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will partner with recruiters and business leaders to identify, engage and successful recruit talent. This contract position will use research tools like LinkedIn, Zoom Info, the internet, phone and other research tools. This role involves in-depth research, networking, and fostering relationships to connect and pipeline potential candidates. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp talent-spotting ability, outstanding communication prowess, and a proactive mindset towards talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop talent pipelines and sourcing for roles at all levels.
• Participate in talent strategy meetings to understand hiring needs.
• Prescreen candidates’ profiles along with building an active/passive candidate pool.
• Recommend and execute sourcing strategies using a variety of sourcing channels
• Conduct thorough market research to map out competitive landscape, potential talent pools, and refine sourcing strategies.
• Maintain current leading-edge knowledge of external sourcing options (job sites, professional recruiting sites, etc.).
• Provide periodic reports of activity as applicable.

Position Requirements
• 2 years’ experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
• Experience in construction, real estate, architecture or engineering preferred but not required.
• Hands-on knowledge in Passive Sourcing (AIRS) techniques, market trends, combing the Internet for target companies/candidates' information, etc.
• Undergraduate degree.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• This position can be remote or based in one of our Illinois offices (Barrington, Des Plaines or Chicago).

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $30 per hour. We consider many factors when determining actual hiring salary. These factors may include location, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, internal equity, and market demands.
