Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Contractor)
About the role… We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to deliver a seamless, high-touch candidate experience and keep interview operations running smoothly. You’ll handle end-to-end interview logistics, communicate proactively with candidates and interviewers, and collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring teams. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and fast-paced—ideal for someone who loves orchestrating complex schedules, solving problems in real time, and creating memorable candidate experiences. This is a 1-year contract position with the option to renew based on business needs. This is a remote position, but we are looking for candidates based in Pittsburgh, PA. You will... Own interview scheduling and rescheduling across time zones and teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a smooth flow day-of (rooms, links, AV checks) Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, sharing clear logistics, answering questions, and upholding Duolingo’s brand throughout the process Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, EAs, and interviewers to align on plans, resolve conflicts, and keep stakeholders informed Maintain system hygiene in our ATS and scheduling tools; update candidate statuses and templates with high precision Help identify small process improvements that increase speed, quality, and candidate care across coordination workflows Provide coverage and flexibility for Talent Acquisition Coordination and Operations teammates during PTO, leave(s), or spikes in demand as determined by the Talent Acquisition Operations team. You have... 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or as an executive assistant Experience with tools like Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, Greenhouse, and Guide (or similar ATS/scheduling tools) A proactive, collaborative spirit and “no task too small” mentality An eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in real time when handling last-minute changes or busy timelines Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with partners across all levels of the company
