Job Title: Tableau Developer: Schema Mapping & Integration (Platform Watch Data) Project Overview: We need an expert Tableau Developer to integrate new Distribution Platform watch data into our existing multi-platform reporting suite. We currently track performance across multiple distribution channels; your goal is to map the New Platform raw data into our established "Watch Flow" architecture to ensure unified reporting. Key Responsibilities: Data Mapping: Align New Platform-specific event attributes (e.g., content IDs, timestamps, session durations, plays, minutes) with our existing data schema. ETL/Data Prep: Use Tableau Prep or SQL to clean and transform raw New Platform exports for seamless union/joining with current sources. Dashboard Integration: Update existing calculated fields and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions to include the new data stream without breaking legacy visualizations. Validation: Perform data audit to ensure New Platform metrics (Reach, Completion Rate, etc.) are consistent with other platform reporting. Technical Requirements: Expert-level Tableau Desktop/Cloud (specifically complex data blending and unions). Strong SQL skills (for pre-Tableau data transformation). Experience with Streaming/OTT metrics (VOD/Live, session-based data) is a strong plus. Ability to work with JSON or CSV exports common to the New Platform partner portal. Signing an NDA and Freelance Agreement required.
