Job Summary
The Systems Support Analyst (Senior) will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our production and application monitoring systems. This includes creating and configuring non-production environments, implementing ELF for non-production and production environments, triaging and resolving issues, deploying application baselines, and performing certificate renewals. You will also be responsible for configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, performing DB activities, and administering various tools such as GIT, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Jenkins.
Key Responsibilities
Creation and configuration of non-prod environments for all in-scope applications
Implementation of ELF for non-production and production environments
Triage and resolution of non-prod environment-related issues
Deployment of application baselines to non-production and production environments for all in-scope applications
Certificate renewals for non-prod and prod environments
Configuration and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
Performance environment creation, configuration, deployment, and support
DB activities for non-prod and prod environments, including installation, maintenance, and issue resolution
GIT administration, Artifactory, SonarQube, ETL admin, UCD admin, UCD scripts, Jenkins configuration, and Logstash
On and off-boarding of new users to access non-prod environments
Production monitoring, including liveliness probe, BM worker node, DataGrid, SOSS, and POD restarts
Report on System Health Metrics using Dynatrace
Monitor and action alerts using Bell Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, BAM, Grafana)
Diagnosing and tracking incidents and problems with Severity Critical (P1) and High (P2) through to resolution
Providing workarounds for Critical and High Incidents
Updating relevant system, configuration, or process documentation
Documenting and promptly notifying Bell of any emergency changes required
Participating in AMS Operations Governance meetings
Responding to application-related questions and performing data extraction as required
Handling ad-hoc requests from end-users for information, queries, or reports
Providing holiday support coverage and performing peak period monitoring and reporting for specific critical applications
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong technical background in systems support and administration
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GIT, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Jenkins
Knowledge of database administration, including installation, maintenance, and issue resolution
Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, BAM, and Grafana
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
Experience with cloud-based technologies and virtualization
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and processes
Experience with agile development methodologies
Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
