The role involves supporting and maintaining storage and backup infrastructure while automating tasks and providing global support to Visa’s systems. Responsibilities Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security, and availability of Storage and SAN infrastructure based on business requirements, and adhering to tight operational, security, and procedural models Automate infrastructure tasks to reduce repetitive or time-consuming processes, utilizing SRE principles/practices and an Infrastructure-as-Code methodology Complex provisioning, advanced maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, data migration, and documentation for our Open Systems Storage and Backup environments Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise to support complex Storage & Backup devices, including SAN, NAS, and Backup solutions across all tiers (under minimal supervision) Be scheduled On-Call to support Visa's systems and infrastructure globally Willingness to work on shift days (Mon - Fri 9:00AM to 6:00PM local time, or a 4 x 10 that includes a weekend day) Skills Less than 6 months of relevant work experience with either Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, graduating May 2025 - August 2026 A keen interest in learning storage technologies and working in an infrastructure support role Proficiency in Python coding and infrastructure automation Experience with UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris), VMware or other hypervisors, and Windows operating environments Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong inter-personal skills Strong ability to self-learn new storage technologies Monitoring, Tuning, Troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Attention to quality and customer service Strong organizational, analytical, and practical problem solving skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off Wellness Program Company Overview Visa is a multinational financial services company that facilitates electronic payment systems throughout the world.
