We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Analyst I to join our Starbucks Technology team in a remote capacity across the U.S. As a Systems Analyst I, you'll play a critical role in supporting our technology solutions, focusing on overall store technology health, and driving success through your diverse skillset. About the Role As a Systems Analyst I - Global Technology, you'll be responsible for supporting the design and development of technology and process solutions that enable key business capabilities and drive strategic initiatives. You'll work closely with senior analysts, technical resources, and business partners to deliver meaningful technology solutions that improve our store technology operations. Key Responsibilities • Analyze store technology operations holistically and create assessments on how to improve technology viability in a store. • Create and facilitate projects to improve the store technology stack. • Participate in Agile methodology Scrum teams in the execution of solution delivery projects. • Gather and document solution requirements, develop business process designs, and support solution design utilizing user-centric design techniques. • Support application configuration, data conversion, and solution testing efforts. • Provide 24*7 global support of critical systems, working trouble tickets, and escalating to teammates according to priority and required expertise. • Develop system proficiency and build subject matter expertise through root cause analysis. • Coordinate and drive issue resolution within the team and cross-functionally, effectively communicating with end-users to gather information and convey status. • Create and maintain systems documentation, such as Wiki and Knowledge Base Articles. • Use query tools to write ad-hoc queries for mass data analysis and operational reports. Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications • Experience in solution design, system configuration, and testing. • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum teams. • Ability to gather and document solution requirements and develop business process designs. • Experience with application configuration, data conversion, and solution testing. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in store technology operations and technology viability assessments. • Knowledge of user-centric design techniques and business process design. • Familiarity with query tools and data analysis. • Experience with system support and trouble ticket management. • Strong understanding of IT service management and ITIL framework.
