Systems Analyst ( Backend JAVA DEVELOPER- Oracle/Postgresql & SQL Scripting)
POSITION SUMMARY: Writes/modifies/debugs computer programs with minimal to no supervision, of all levels of complexity from simple, medium to high level complexity. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ā¢ Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify computer programs
ā¢ Ability to independently troubleshoot reported programming issues, provide solutions, and resolve the issues on time. ā¢ Support and enhance existing IT Applications and services including but not limited to, new EDI requirements, new client acquisitions, new business acquisitions, data interface implementations
ā¢ Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet specified requirements.
ā¢ Identify and troubleshoot system defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues. ā¢ Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that systems meet user expectations. ā¢ Complete daily Departmental duties as assigned in a timely and professional manner
ā¢ Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into understandable terms. ā¢ Monitors and troubleshoots system/application performance issues with minimal to no supervision. ā¢ Work with geographically separated teams on the application development, bug fixing/ enhancements, and QA process and effectively communicate with them.
ā¢ Other job-related duties as assigned by manager
PREFERRED SKILLS
ā¢ Knowledge of ClickHouse and experience with SQL queries is preferable. ā¢ Hands-on experience with RDBMS Postgres. ā¢ 4+ years' hands-on experience in JAVA programming language. ā¢ hands-on experience with RDBMS Oracle is preferable. ā¢ Good knowledge of data structures, data exchange, and data conversion. ā¢ Knowledge of Internet/Intranet, client/server technologies. ā¢ Good Understanding of business analysis work. Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred); 4 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Apply Now
